Our Windows Software:
- Windows 7, first on the market in 2009
- Windows 8, first launched in 2012
- Windows 10, first on the market in 2015
The basic idea from the beginning was to create an overview for the user, which allows the user in a single "window" to overview all the functions of the computer, to control and act on the screen without much effort, and to use the desired functions and tasks easily and intuitively. Apart from private use for text documents, games and creative activities, it is impossible to imagine the working world without the PC today, and with it its possibilities as a fixed or mobile workstation.
The Windows 7 operating system - Professional and Enterprise
The comparatively oldest version of our offer concerns the Microsoft operating system Windows 7. Why does this version represent a special waymark of the operating systems? The reason lies not only in the excellent possibilities, but also in the regained trust in Microsoft. The predecessor Vista was error-prone and not sophisticated enough to convince the mass of users. For this reason, quite a few PC users with Windows operating system relied on the previous version XP. With Windows 7, Windows has been reopened to all classes of users and apart from the Home versions, the two versions we offer are particularly exciting for business users.
Windows 7 Professional is the operating system for medium and small businesses and also brings advantages to individual users with previous knowledge or enthusiastic gamers. The maximum memory is 192 GB and Windows Server Domains are additionally supported. Depending on the purpose, the version is also useful because programs that no longer run under v7 can also be started in XP mode.
The licensed Enterprise version is very similar to the Professional and is primarily sold to organizations and companies with a so-called volume license. Windows 7 is still supported as an operating system by the manufacturer and remains protected with regard to security risks. Due to a ten-year commitment, support will consequently end towards the end of 2019 and will finally be discontinued on January 14, 2020.
The Windows 8.1 operating system - Professional and Enterprise
Windows version 8 was launched in 2012, and the system-changing Windows 8.1 update was finally released on October 18, 2013. Two of the main concerns of the development from the Windows 8.1 operating system were better use on mobile devices and an increase in upload and download speeds. As the direct successor to Windows 7 and the predecessor to Windows 10, version 8 in our range therefore represents the intermediate stage from which you can benefit functionally and in terms of price.
Just like other operating systems, there are also different versions of Windows 8 and 8.1. Professional explicitly addresses small businesses that want to use their own computer for both private and business purposes. In addition to the classic functions, the version is enriched, among other things, by a remote desktop server and the options: Hyper-V (visualization technology), hard disk encryption, EFS (Encrypting File System) and other applications.
In addition to the Professional functions, the Enterprise version comes with a number of bonuses. These include improved distribution (deployment), PC management options, virtualizations and a higher security structure. In addition, this version allows you to use DirectAccess and Windows To Go. The complete use of Windows 8 Enterprise is distributed as a volume license. However, this version does not support Windows Media Center.
The Windows 10 operating system - The latest version
Windows 10 is the end point of Microsoft's operating systems - almost. According to the manufacturer, with Windows 10 the extensions should end as a new version. This means that the Windows 10 operating system in its respective variants, such as our Professional and Enterprise, are sometimes fundamentally expanded. New, far-reaching functions come with updates, which also explains the regular expansion and it no longer comes to the fact that older versions expire and no longer receive care in the form of security updates.
Windows 10 is now as naturally a desktop as a laptop operating system and can be found on a variety of multimedia platforms: Smartphone, Raspberry Pi, Xbox One and more. Compared to its predecessors, quite a few details have been reworked. The start menu, the app system, the implementation of the personal assistant Cortana and various security functions are just a few examples. Data transfers and communication have been completely reinterpreted and extended functions even in the basic version are available to almost all users.
The professional version of our offer is the one especially for workstations or companies with more advanced requirements in terms of computing power of the workload. The server factor and associated hardware also play a role in the use of the Pro version. There is also a Pro home user variant available from the manufacturer, which is also interesting for smaller companies. With Windows 8.1 Enterprise, you as a company receive more advanced functions that are helpful in everyday business. These behave similarly to the Windows 8 Enterprise features, and in v10 include: BranchCache, AppLocker, VDI enhancements, Windows To Go and DirectAccess.
